As per National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) guidelines every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure.
IQAC in any institution is a significant administrative body that is responsible for all quality matters. It is the prime responsibility of IQAC to initiate, plan and supervise various activities that are necessary to increase the quality of the education imparted in an institution or college. The internal quality assurance mechanism of the institution may be called “Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)”. The IQAC is meant for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the colleges.
We at Shasun never compromise in quality, and thus we have established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as per the requirements and guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The IQAC of the college was established on 17th November 2006. IQAC of the college plans and implements all quality related activities of the institution. A plan of action is devised at the beginning of the academic year and activities are undertaken to achieve the same. The IQAC reviews the processes relating to all aspects of the institution in a timely manner and takes suitable action. The IQAC meets regularly, conducts academic and administrative audit and ensures timely submission of records to NAAC.
The IQAC comprises of Management members, Industrialist, Employer, Academic faculty and Administrative staff, Alumnae, Students and Parents. Principal is the Chairperson of IQAC.
