  • Computation of Library with standard digital software.
  • Inclusion of sufficient information about the library in the college prospectus.
  • Displaying Newspaper clippings on the notice board periodically.
  • Career /Employment information services.
  • Internet facility to different user’s group.
  • Suggestion register and timely response.
  • Displaying new arrivals and circulating a list of those to all departments through email.
  • Conducting Book fair on different occasions.
  • In-service Program: Staff members are given the opportunity to familiarize and expertise with library automation, E-resource services.

  • Observation of other library practices by institutional visits.
  • Maintenance of service areas: The atmosphere in the library is inviting with cleanliness of areas in and outside of the library. Maintenance of calm and neat atmosphere in the reading and stack areas is a must for concentrated reading and searching materials. To achieve this, it is important to provide the users clean environment including dust free in the stack areas.
  • Information literacy Programme: Information literacy training is given to the new entrants at the beginning of the academic year. It also familiarizes students with the existing and new facilities and services offered at the library for maximum usage of library resources.

  • Compiling student /staff usage statistics and locating the same on the notice board.
  • Conduct book talks and competitions.
